Recent Project: DESVIO

My recent project was my last project for University. The site is Club Chemistry in Canterbury. Our brief was on nightlife, adapting the space to solve particular problems people faced when visiting the site. My project in particular investigated safety, as many women stated that they faced a lot of uncomfortable experiences in the nightclub.

1st Floor Plan

My design included the top two floors of chemistry, this floor is where the dance floor is. I've incorporated play into the design as a distraction from violent thoughts.

2nd Floor Plan

This floor was a balcony floor which helps promote natural survillance, it allows security to see hidden spots and help people faster.
